15 Years of DIVA!

Date: July 2nd, 2024

I've been quiet for a while now, huh? Not to worry! I'm very much alive! And today's a very special day: the 15th anniversary of the Project DIVA series, which the DIVA Room (my sprawling shrine of sorts) is dedicated to. I'm really happy with the progress I've made on it over the past few weeks. More info under the cut!

Basically, I'm almost done with this subsite, dedicated to information on the first game for the PSP. The only things left to finish are galleries for illustrations/modules and screenshots of the dev build, and the subpage for one of the DLC minigames (the Luka one). Unlike the *Hello, Planet. minigame (which is mostly translated, even without a dedicated patch), the Toeto minigame is almost entirely undocumented. Nobody in the English-speaking fandom has reached the credits. This means if I want to document this thing (I have a copy, no worries there), I'll have to do a lot of extra work. I'm thinking of starting a dedicated playthrough? We'll see. I should probably figure out how to add an RSS feed though so it's easier to follow. Anyway, for now I'm happy with my documentation of the first game.

I also joined a new webring! Sites for a Free Palestine. It's got links, information, and resources for helping Palestine! That's nice! Please check it out.

As an aside, I'm thinking of changing my guestbook to atabook? Right now I just use the comment widget, but I think it might be better for the guestbook to be more distinct.

I started watching Steins;Gate. I'm about 1/4 of the way through. It's okay so far. It's fun.

Is there anything else I've neglected to mention... Oh! Later this month, some of the cast of my favorite webshow (and now book series!), Epithet Erased, are doing meet-n-greets! I'll be attending one, and I'm super excited. I really loved the show when it first dropped, and I backed the Kickstarter for Prison of Plastic (the book which is a sequel to the show) as soon as I heard about it. I loved the audiobook (which I got as a backer) so much that I went ahead and bought the hardcover (and also whatever this thing is). I can't wait to get my copy signed.
